Toshiba Satellite U300 is a good quality and practical machine that you can bring with you wherever you go. The screen is 13,3 inches and that’s big sufficient for the majority people. U300 is a traditional machine that follows with the latest design from Toshiba, which uses a shiny screen and a silver color. The rest of the Design is very basic with round corners, and a customary post for the ports. On this laptop you can get 1,66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo-processor, 2 GB RAM, 160 GB hard disk, 802.11abgn wireless network, Bluetooth and 1 GB Turbo Memory.
The cheaper version gives you only a 1.5 GHz Intel 2 Duo-processor, and do not have Turbo Memory.
Performance
This laptop uses a T5450 processor, but its also possible in the direction of get the slower T5250. T5450 is a Core 2 Duo-processor with a buzz pace of 667 MHz. The L2-cachen is also only 2 mb. Toshiba also put 2 GB RAM and a 160 GB hard disk in this laptop. Toshiba Satellite U300 is not a very good gaming machine, when we did a 3dmark 2005 test we only got 666 score. This machine still does it improved then its competitors which is HP Pavilion tx1128 and Apple Mac book 13.
Design
Satellite is the home edition for Toshiba, which is why this laptop less solid then the laptops meant for companies. Over to the right on the machine above the mouse section you can feel that this laptop is really weak. The top lock of this laptop is also really frail plus you should be careful what you put on top of it. The keyboard looks normal and the buttons are filled size. This keyboard is also very quiet and comfortable to work with. This machine also got a numeral of shortcuts on top of the keyboard. With these buttons you can start traveler, start media player and media control buttons.
Screen
This screen is quite good with good brightness compared to what I am used to, but the contrast and the colors are not the most excellent on this screen. Since this machine is so small and contemptible I would say its better then its competitors. This machine is very quiet even you are playing games on it or working hard. This machine also don’t get to hot, 25,8 C standard.

Satellite U300is a small and practical machine that you can afford. Even though this laptop is not good for games do not mean that you cannot play games, but we advocate a much stronger laptop for so as to this is the laptop for a businessman, a traveler or usual family.
