February 13th, 2008Sony Launches VAIO G21
Sony has opened a new VAIO model – the G21. This laptop has been calculated for great uptime as it assure over seven hours of battery life. This is made likely as it comes with a 12.1 inch LED back lit screen that needs less power. Besides, it’s powered by an Intel ULV processor that eats a part of the power needed to run standard mobile processors.
The VAIO G21 comes in two models – the VGN-G21VN / B and the VGNG21XP / B. The first one features an Intel 1.06Ghz Core 2 Duo U7500 chip, organization memory of up to 2GB RAM and a 64GB SSD.
Graphics are powered by an Intel GMA 950 graphics chipset with 224MB memory. It also comes ready with an 802.11a/b/g wireless chipset, Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, and Windows Vista. The VGNG21XP / B are similar as far as stipulation go, but ships without the SSD.
